Programme Overview
Speech and Language Therapy is a clinical profession that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of communication impairments and swallowing disorders in children and adults. The knowledge base for professionals in this field is drawn from the Medical Sciences, Linguistics, Psychology and Communication Disorders.
Throughout the four years of the Speech and Language Therapy programme, students will be provided with practice education opportunities to experience planning, implementing and evaluating speech, language, communication and swallowing management for children and adults with communication disorders.
